Welcome on board the Obi-Wan
![]() |
The Obi Wan is a Sirocco 31. She was built in Spain in 1973, hull number 816.
Obi-Wan is a character from Star-Wars. Obi-Wan was a strange old hermit who lived a solitary life on the dessert planet of Dantooine. While everybody assumed that Obi-Wan was just this strange old fellow, no on knew that in fact he was a general in the colonial wars, let alone a jedi knight.
The same goes for the ship: looking at her, you wouldn't imagine that she was in fact a thoroughbred racing horse. A few other yachtsmen realised this too late. You should see the look on their face when their boat gets passed by the Obi-Wan. She easily manages to leave much younger and longer yachts behind her.
So, welcome aboard the Obi-Wan. Go to the "Design" section to learn more about the Sirocco 31. The "Logbook" tells you about all our voyages, while "History" talks about the life of the Obi-Wan. "Shipyard" talks about all the TLC it took to get her ship-shape. "Lookout" is all about images of the boat, the places and the people who sailed her.
